I. Core Product Understanding Wedge wire screen, also known as Johnson screen, is a high-precision screening and filtering element made of wedge-shaped screen wires and supporting ribs through resistance welding. Its core structure exhibits a "ladder-shaped welding" characteristic: the supporting ribs are relatively large in size and spacing (such as round bars with a diameter of 2.5-5mm), bearing the structural load; the wedge-shaped screen wires are small in size, forming the crucial slits for screening, and the slit width can be precisely controlled within the range of 0.005mm (5μm) to 10mm.

III. Core Product Features

Anti-clogging and High Flow Rate:The wedge-shaped sieve wires form a trapezoidal slit that is narrower at the top and wider at the bottom, reducing the number of contact points with solid particles. Combined with the smooth surface design, this significantly reduces the risk of clogging and provides excellent backwashing performance. The continuous slit structure increases the porosity by more than 30% compared to traditional metal mesh, reducing fluid resistance.

High Strength and Durability:Each sieve wire and support rib is reinforced by welding, resulting in high structural rigidity, strong load-bearing capacity, and a service life 5-10 times that of filter cloth. In some scenarios, it can achieve near-replacement-free operation.

Precision and Customization:Slit accuracy can reach ±0.025mm, with a minimum of 5μm (Fine Wedge® technology). Personalized design is supported: material selection, size specifications, porosity, and connection methods can all be customized as needed. Environmental adaptability: It can operate stably in environments ranging from -200℃ to 500℃, and is resistant to acids, alkalis, and salt spray corrosion, making it suitable for complex scenarios such as wastewater treatment, marine engineering, and high-temperature metallurgy.
