FAQ
Q1: What information do you need for quotation?
A: Material grade, outer diameter, length, slot opening, end connection, working medium, pressure and quantity. Drawing is highly appreciated.
Q2: What is your minimum slot size?
A: The smallest slot we can make is 0.05 mm. The slot will be suggested according to your particle size.
Q3: Can you make special thread / flange ends?
A: Yes. Plain end, NPT thread, BSP thread, custom flange, coupling and special adapters are all available.
Q4: How to clean wedge wire screen tube?
A: Mainly backwash with water or air reverse flow. Stubborn dirt can use soft brush or compatible chemical cleaning. The V-shaped slot is anti-blocking and easy to clean.
Q5: What is the difference between wedge wire tube and woven mesh filter tube?
A: Wedge wire tube has higher strength, larger open area, anti-clogging continuous slot, better pressure resistance and longer service life. Woven mesh is usually for finer low-pressure filtration.
Q6: What is the lead time? MOQ?
A: Sample: 3–7 days. Mass order: 15–25 days. Low MOQ, we accept small trial orders.
Q7: Which material should I choose?
A: SS304 for normal fresh water; SS316L for general corrosive water, food & pharma; 2205/2507 duplex steel for seawater, high chloride environment; Hastelloy for strong acid medium.
Q8: Can you provide test certificates?
A: Yes, material certificate (3.1), dimension inspection report and packing photos can be supplied.
