Product Introduction:
Wedge Wire Screen Tube Usually made of carbon steel, galvanized, stainless steel (302, 304, 304L, 316, 316L).
Wedge wire screen tube, also called wedge wire screen pipe, is made of stainless steel wires. Because of outstanding chemical stability and corrosion resistance.
The wedge wire screen tube is composed of working profile and support profile. It is welded on an special automotive machine. The support profiles are placed on the proper position of the machine, during the surface profiles are spirally wounding and welded into the surface profiles.
The V wire is welded to the rods and produces a rigid unit that has high strength and minimum weight.
The V-shape section plane can avoid blockage and make sure of the unimpeded water. The consecutive slot has more open area, and it can reduce the speed of the water entering to avoid the sand entering the pipes under the great pressure, so it can filter sand better. Meanwhile, the slot of wedge wire pipe can change according to the real condition of the earth.
Materials: Stainless steel430, 321, 304, 304L,316 or 316L, etc. Other materials as per requirement.
Material: 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 310S, Duplex steel, Hastelloy, Titanium alloy, etc. Regular products are available from stock, with excellent stock prices and fastest delivery.
Tube diameter: 0.5" – 60". Support for ordering larger pipe diameters, regular sizes are available in molds and stock.
Tube length: 0.3 m, 0.6 m, 1 m, 2 m, 3 m, and 6 m. Special sizes can be customized.
Slot size: 0.02 mm – 2.5 mm.
Surface profile type: Triangle wire.
Support profile: Triangular (V-shaped, wedge), round rod, flat bar, water-drop, and square wire.
1. The continuous gap greatly increases the water flow area, so it has better contact with the aquifer.
2. The V-shaped profile structure avoids blockage, ensures smooth flow, and the continuous gap can be used effectively for a long time.
3. The trapezoidal filter pipe has a strong structure, high porosity, precise gap size, easy backwashing, long service life, safe and reliable.
Wedge Wire Screen Tube can be used with deep well pumps and submersible pumps, and can also be used in water treatment equipment, environmental protection, desalination of seawater into industrial water and domestic water, tap water treatment, water softening treatment, and petrochemical industry.
1. Production process continuity: V-shaped profile wires creating slots which enlarge inwardly and therefore avoid clogging and minimize downtime.
2. Low maintenance costs: Separation at the screen surface which can easily cleaned by scraping or back washing.
3. Maximum process output: Precise and continuous slot openings resulting in accurate separation without loss off media.
4. Low operational costs: Large open area with an effective flow, high yield and a low pressure drop (dP)
5. Long live: Welded at each intersection creating a strong and durable screen.
6. Reduced installation costs: supporting constructions eliminating costly support media and enabling a maximum flexibility in the design of components.
7. Chemical and thermal resistant: A variety of corrosion resistant stainless steel materials and many exotic alloys suitable for high temperatures and pressures.
